prabhu-pada-prapti lagi' sankalpa karila
triveni pravesa kari' prana chadila
SYNONYMS
prabhu-padathe lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; prapti lagi'-with a view to getting; sankalpa kariladecided definitely; tri-veni pravesa kari'-entering into the water at the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna at Prayaga; prana chadilagive up his life.
TRANSLATION
Junior Haridasa had conclusively decided to attain shelter at the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Thus he entered deep into the water at Triveni, the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna at Prayaga, and in this way gave up his life.
