প্রভুপদপ্রাপ্তি লাগি' সঙ্কল্প করিল ।
ত্রিবেণী প্রবেশ করি' প্রাণ ছাড়িল ॥ ১৪৭ ॥

prabhu-pada-prapti lagi' sahkalpa karila

triveni pravesa kari' prana chaḍila

SYNONYMS

prabhu-pada-the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; prapti lagi'-with a view to getting; sahkalpa karila-decided definitely; tri-veni pravesa kari'-entering into the water at the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna at Prayaga; prana chaḍila-give up his life.

TRANSLATION

Junior Haridasa had conclusively decided to attain shelter at the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Thus he entered deep into the water at Triveni, the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna at Prayaga, and in this way gave up his life.
