এত কহি' ক্রোধাবেশে, ভাবের তরঙ্গে ভাসে, উৎকণ্ঠা-সাগরে ডুবে মন ।
রাধার উৎকণ্ঠা-বাণী, পড়ি' আপনে বাখানি, কৃষ্ণমাধুর্য করে আস্বাদন ॥ ৩৯ ॥

eta kahi' krodhavese, bhavera taraṅge bhase,

utkantha-sagare dube mana

radhara utkantha-vani, padi' apane vakhani,

krsna-madhurya kare asvadana

eta kahi'-saying this; krodha-avese-in the mood of anger; bhavera taraṅge-in the waves of ecstatic love; bhase-floats; utkantha-of anxieties; sagare-in the ocean; dube mana-merges the mind; radhara-of Srimati Radharani; utkantha-vani-words of anxiety; padi'-reciting; apane-personally; vakhani-explaining; krsna-madhurya-the sweetness of Krsna; kare asvadana-tastes.

TRANSLATION

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu spoke these words in a mood of anger as He floated on waves of ecstatic love. Merged in an ocean of anxiety, He recited a verse spoken by Srimati Radharani expressing the same emotion. Then He personally explained the verse and thus tasted the sweetness of Krsna.
