ati ucca suvistara, laksmi-srivatsa-alankara,
krsnera ye dakatiya vaksa
vraja-devi laksa laksa, ta-sabara mano-vaksa,
hari-dasi karibare daksa
SYNONYMS
ativery; uccahigh; su-vistarabroad; laksmia mark of golden lines on the left side of the chest of Sri Krsna, indicating the residence of the goddess of fortune; srivatsaa mark of silver hairs on the right side of the Lord's chest; alankaraornaments; krsneraof Lord Krsna; yethat; dakatiyalike a plunderer; vaksachest; vraja-devithe damsels of Vraja; laksa laksathousands upon thousands; ta-sabaraof all of them; manah-vaksathe minds and breasts; hari-dasimaidservants of the Supreme Lord; karibareto make; daksaexpert.
TRANSLATION
"On Krsna's chest are the ornaments of Srivatsa and the mark indicating the residence of the goddess of fortune. His chest, which is as broad as a plunderer's, attracts thousands upon thousands of damsels of Vraja, conquering their minds and breasts by force. Thus they all become maidservants of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
