priya-mukhe bhrnga pade, taha nivarite
lila-padma calaite haila anya-citte
SYNONYMS
priya-mukheon His beloved's face; bhrngathe bumblebees; padefall; tahathat; nivariteto prevent; lilathe pastimes; padmathe lotus flower; calaitecausing to move; hailawas; anya-cittediverted in the mind.
TRANSLATION
" 'To stop the bumblebees from landing on the face of His beloved, He whisked them away with the lotus flower in His hand, and thus His mind was slightly diverted.
