priya-mukhe bhrnga pade, taha nivarite
lila-padma calaite haila anya-citte
SYNONYMS
priya-mukhe—on His beloved's face; bhrnga—the bumblebees; pade—fall; taha—that; nivarite—to prevent; lila—the pastimes; padma—the lotus flower; calaite—causing to move; haila—was; anya-citte—diverted in the mind.
TRANSLATION
" 'To stop the bumblebees from landing on the face of His beloved, He whisked them away with the lotus flower in His hand, and thus His mind was slightly diverted.
