এই সব - পুরুষ-জাতি, কৃষ্ণের সখার সমান ॥ ৩৭ ॥

ei saba-purusa-jati, krsnera sakhara samana
uttara-answer; na-not; pana-getting; punah-again; kare-do; anumana-guess; ei saba-all these; purusa-jati-belonging to the male class; krsnera-of Krsna; sakhara samana-as good as friends.
"When the trees did not reply, the gopis guessed, 'Since all of these trees belong to the male class, all of them must be friends of Krsna.
