স্বরূপাদিগণ তাহাঁ আসিয়া মিলিলা ।
প্রভুর অবস্থা দেখি' কান্দিতে লাগিলা ॥ ৯৮ ॥

svarupadi-gana tahaṅ asiya milila

prabhura avastha dekhi' kandite lagila

SYNONYMS

svarupa-adi-gana-the devotees, headed by Svarupa Damodara Gosvami; tahaṅ-there; asiya-coming; milila-met; prabhura-of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; avastha-condition; dekhi'-seeing; kandite lagila-began to cry.

TRANSLATION

When Svarupa Damodara and the other devotees reached the spot and saw the condition of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, they began to cry.
