prathame calila prabhu,--yena vayu-gati
stambha-bhava pathe haila, calite nahi sakti
SYNONYMS
prathamein the beginning; calilawent; prabhuSri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; yenalike; vayu-gatithe speed of the wind; stambha-bhavathe emotion of being stunned; patheon the way; hailathere was; caliteto move; nahino; saktipower.
TRANSLATION
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was running with the speed of the wind, but He suddenly became stunned in ecstasy and lost all strength to proceed further.
