সেই মালা, ছুটা পান প্রভু তাঁরে দিলা ।
'ইষ্টদেব' করি' মালা ধরিয়া রাখিলা ॥ ১২৪ ॥

sei mala, chuta pana prabhu taṅre dila

'ista-deva' kari' mala dhariya rakhila

SYNONYMS

sei mala-that garland; chuta pana-the betel; prabhu-Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; taṅre dila-delivered to him; ista-deva-his worshipable Deity; kari'-accepting as; mala-that garland; dhariya rakhila-kept.

TRANSLATION

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave the garland and betel to Raghunatha Bhatta, who accepted them as a worshipable Deity, preserving them very carefully.
