nityananda-prabhure yadyapi ajna nai
tathapi dekhite calena caitanya-gosani
SYNONYMS
nityananda-prabhureunto Lord Nityananda; yadyapialthough; ajna naithere was no order; tathapistill; dekhiteto see; calenaHe went; caitanya-gosaniLord Caitanya.
TRANSLATION
Because Nityananda Prabhu was preaching in Bengal, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had ordered Him not to come to Jagannatha Puri. That year, however, He went with the rest of the party to see the Lord.
