আজ্ঞা-পালনে কৃষ্ণের যৈছে পরিতোষ ।
প্রেমে আজ্ঞা ভাঙ্গিলে হয় কোটিসুখ-পোষ ॥ ৮ ॥

ajna-palane krsnera yaiche paritosa

preme ajna bhahgile haya koti-sukha-posa

SYNONYMS

ajna-palane-by carrying out the order; krsnera-of Lord Krsna; yaiche-as; paritosa-happiness; preme-in ecstatic love; ajna bhahgile-when one breaks the order; haya-there is; koti-sukha-posa-millions of times more happiness.

TRANSLATION

If one carries out Krsna's order, Krsna is certainly pleased, but if one sometimes breaks His order due to ecstatic love, that gives Him millions of times greater happiness.
