ghatera nimitta-hetu yaiche kumbhakara
taiche jagatera karta--purusavatara
SYNONYMS
ghateraof the earthen pot; nimitta-hetuoriginal cause; yaichejust as; kumbhakarathe potter; taichesimilarly; jagatera kartathe creator of the material world; purusa-avatarathe purusa incarnation, or Karanarnavasayi Visnu.
TRANSLATION
Just as the original cause of an earthen pot is the potter, so the creator of the material world is the first purusa incarnation [Karanarnavasayi Visnu].
