প্রীতিবিষয়ানন্দে তদাশ্রয়ানন্দ ।
তাঁহা নাহি নিজসুখবাঞ্ছার সম্বন্ধ ॥ ১৯৯ ॥

priti-visayanande tad-asrayananda

taṅha nahi nija-sukha-vanchara sambandha

SYNONYMS

priti-visaya-anande-in the joy of the object of love; tat-of that love; asraya-ananda-the joy of the abode; taṅha-that; nahi-not; nija-sukha-vanchara-of desire for one's own happiness; sambandha-relationship.

TRANSLATION

The happiness of the abode of love is in the happiness of the object of that love. This is not a relationship of desire for personal gratification.
