প্রতিভার কাব্য তোমার দেবতা সন্তোষে ।
ভালমতে বিচারিলে জানি গুণদোষে ॥ ৪৮ ॥

pratibhara kavya tomara devata santose

bhala-mate vicarile jani guna-dose

SYNONYMS

pratibhara-of ingenuity; kavya-poetry; tomara-your; devata-the Lord; santose-satisfies; bhala-mate-scrutinizingly; vicarile-on analyzing; jani-I know; guna-dose-there are faults and qualities also.

TRANSLATION

"There is no doubt that your poetry is full of ingenuity, and certainly it has satisfied the Supreme Lord. Yet if we scrutinizingly consider it we can find both good qualities and faults."
