In the sacrifice arranged by
Maharaja Ambarisa, the members of the assembly and the priests [especially
hota, udgata,
brahma and adhvaryu] were gorgeously dressed, and they all looked exactly like demigods. They eagerly saw to the proper performance of the
yajna.
