manasas tam vijnapayam babhuvuh.
atha-thus; te-they (the carriers of the palanquin); isvara-vacah-the words of the master, King Rahugana; sa-upalambham-with reproach; upakarnya-hearing; upaya-the means; turiyat-from the fourth one; saṅkita-manasah-whose minds were afraid; tam-him (the King); vijnapayam babhuvuh-informed.
