अयमवतारो रजसोपप्लुतकैवल्योपशिक्षणार्थः. ॥ १२ ॥

ayam avataro rajasopapluta-kaivalyopasiksanarthah.

ayam avatarah-this incarnation (Lord Rsabhadeva); rajasa-by the mode of passion; upapluta-overwhelmed; kaivalya-upasiksana-arthah-to teach people the path of liberation.
