तस्यार्थसूक्ष्माभिनिविष्टदृष्टेर् अन्तर्गतो ऽर्थो रजसा तनीयान् ।
गुणेन कालानुगतेन विद्धः सूष्यंस्तदाभिद्यत नाभिदेशात् ॥ १३ ॥

antar-gato 'rtho rajasa taniyan
gunena kalanugatena viddhah
susyams tadabhidyata nabhidesat
tasya-His; artha-subject; suksma-subtle; abhinivista-drsteh-of one whose attention was fixed; antah-gatah-internal; arthah-purpose; rajasa-by the mode of passion of material nature; taniyan-very subtle; gunena-by the qualities; kala-anugatena-in due course of time; viddhah-agitated; susyah-generating; tat-that; abhidyata-pierced into; nabhidesat-from the abdomen.
