Om ajnana-timirandhasya jnananjana-salakaya
caksur unmilitam yena tasmai sn-gurave namah

sri-caitanya-mano-'bhistam sthapitam yena bhutale
svayam rupah kada mahyam dadati sva-padantikam

My beloved spiritual master, Your Divine Grace,

Please forgive this inadequate attempt to offer homage on this most auspicious day of your appearance. At present we are feeling the pangs of separation on your disappearance, but for yourself the two are the same. Because of your desireless attitude, we know we are not competent enough to glorify your character, which is unlimited, being the mercy manifestation of the Supreme Absolute Truth, just as we are not competent to glorify the Lord, who is Uttamasloka.

O my beloved lord and master, please assist your selfish children to be selfless, knowing our goal to be your words and your words to be the desire of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, which is the spreading of Krsna consciousness.

Please, my dear lord and master, give us the strength to be free from this stringent material nature, which illusions great demigods, what to speak of ourselves, to think of "I" and "my," which is the basic disease of the material world.

O beloved master, assist us so we may not fall prey to illusory designations and so we remember that we are all your eternal servants in different statuses. Please give us the strength to remember this.
