Dear Srila Prabhupada,
We offer our eternally insignificant obeisances at your lotus feet. As the Ganges forever flows to the sea, let our minds be constantly attracted to your service, without deviation.
In the Srimad-Bhagavatam Srila Sukadev Goswami tells Maharaja Pariksit, "My dear king, one should stay at a place where the great acaryas speak about the transcendental activities of the Lord, and one should give aural reception to the nectarean rivers flowing from the moonlike faces of such great personalities." You have so kindly and tastefully presented this Bhagavat-Dharma, as the parrot makes the taste of a fruit more relishable, by touching it with its beak.
Oh divine spiritual master, we pray that we, who have no qualification to serve you, may be able to meditate upon your body, words and deeds from which krsna-prema shines forth, destroying our lust, anger and greed. We know that it is impossible for conditioned selves to understand one-tenth of the nature of this divine love relished by Your Divine Grace. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has given us a little understanding of this relationship between the Lord and His most confidential servitors by revealing to us that "All the associates and servitors of Krsna in Vraja are part of the service of Sri Radhika." No wonder then that the love of Krsna exhibited by your grace is saving the world from hell.
Fully understanding that one can only please Krsna by pleasing His devotees, you came to the western world to give everyone a taste of the nectar of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Into this hell of slaughterhouses, casinos, bars and brothels you calmly came with the message of Lord Caitanya, requesting the fallen souls to take up self-realization by the transcendental method of singing, dancing and feasting.
It is stated in the Nectar of Devotion that the qualification of a spiritual master is that he must have realized the conclusion of the Vedas by deliberation and argument and thus be able to convince others of these conclusions.
Your fame and glory will be spread all over the world as you are performing the greatest of miracles by turning stone-hearted entities into devotees of Krsna. The Lord's service is described in the Bhagavatam as the ultimate good for the people in general.
Srila Prabhupada, your service to the Lord is unmotivated and uninterrupted, and therefore you are absolutely self-satisfied. This quality makes you entirely unique and worshipable by the whole world.
Oh, Srila Prabhupada, you are the ideal teacher, and we are your unworthy disciples. You are our eternal father and we are your helpless children. You are the supreme spiritual master and we humbly pray that we may be engaged as menial servants at your feet.
