Dearmost Srila Prabhupada,

While observing how all the countless species of life herein are being so greatly pained by this duality of the material world, we have begun to appreciate how many millions of lifetimes of suffering we have spent transmigrating from body to body in this miserable place.

Having finally collapsed at your lotus feet, we are realizing how essential is the association of your devotees, without whom we would continue to seek reciprocation with the living dead.

... and your service, bereft of which we'd be perpetually drained by the demands of our senses, and engulfed in the concoctions of our devious minds.

... and your books, without which we'd have no more to utter than sound vibrations which had previously driven us all crazy.

Dearmost Srila Prabhupada, anything of value that we think, feel, or do is only because of your unlimited mercy upon us.

We realize, also, that any expression of thanks is but a mere fragment of the gratitude we should actually be feeling. Therefore, we must also beg forgiveness for our innumerable offenses that are keeping us from properly appreciating our relationship with you. And we pray that some-day we may become true bhaktas at your lotus feet, and help fulfill your most cherished desire to reunite the people of the world at the lotus feet of your most beloved Lord, Sri Krsna.
