We are most respectfully and humbly prostrating ourselves at your lotus feet, Srila Prabhupada, for despite our many strivings, we have found no other true shelter. Although we are certainly among the most sinful, fallen wretches, yet we are in fact the most fortunate souls in all the three worlds, for, by the limitless grace of the Lord, we have obtained the association of your merciful self. Due to our having become a little bit serious about factual spiritual life, Sri Krsna has been pleased to bestow upon us the intelligence to be attracted by your pure, exemplary life, and thus we have become enlivened to pursue your lotus feet….

And now, you, Srila Prabhupada, who are the perfect living example of humility, patience, tolerance, compassion and undeviating, cent per cent submission at the lotus feet of your Guru Maharaja, (bearing upon yourself the weight of our past sins) are leading us up out of the realm of the living dead (who are lost to themselves amidst the deepening shadow of death.) You are offering to us that gem after which all conditioned souls are searching for millions upon millions of births, the highest gift: eternally perfect, absolutely unconditional and unlimitedly ecstatic hankering for the intimate association of Sri Sri Radha-Madhava…..

We are praying, Srila Prabhupada, that we shall always possess the strength and determination to never deviate from your sacred service. In this way, and only in this way, will we ever be able to fulfill our duty, which is to fully accept and pass on to others the gift which you are offering. Please accept our heads at your lotus feet, and do with them as you wish; we aspire to become perfect tools in your hands….All glories to you, Srila Prabhupada!
