We here at New Orleans Yatra humbly pray for the intelligence and the strength to serve your divine self, Srila Prabhupada, in a simple and offenseless way. Please be merciful unto us.
Lord Brahma's majestic position as creator of the vast cosmic manifestation certainly must be respected by every single entity. Siva's potency is so intense that simply by his dancing the entire universe is devastated. The king of the demigods Indradeva rides his celestial elephant-carrier Airavata. Armed with his powerful thunderbolts he can easily knock off the peaks of the greatest mountains. Vivasvan the sun-god lights and heats the extensive expansions of space as he smoothly makes his route in his effulgent chariot. The goddess of fortune Laksmi-devi is so enticing that just to have her association even the most reputed gentleman will engage in the most abominable activities. See him madly struggling to have her under his control, although he's actually under hers.
There are thirty-three million demigods and they are deputed by KRSNA to see that the universe is properly facilitated. Their positions of control are far superior to the other innumerable conditioned souls. Yet all of them are trapped in temporary bodies stuck within the thick coverings of the universe.
Gurudeva! All these demigods are great masters but they all bow down to your lotus feet. Sri Guru, you are the sum total of all the demigods, capable of delivering anyone within the fourteen planetary systems. Therefore we offer you our most respectful obeisances and beg you to keep us with you.
Most beloved Srila Prabhupada, you have told us the secrets of time and space. Everyone is puzzled at the idea of life beyond, but you are showing us everything, taking us everywhere. The universal activities are so amazing and wonderful that simply by investigating these cosmic affairs one becomes aghast. But actually it's all a dream... a colossal phantasmagoria, bhūtva bhūtva praliyate [Bg 8.19].
"From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place, but one who attains to My abode, O son of Kunti, never takes birth again.
Jayate jagad-guru! Your glories are sung throughout the three worlds. You have saved us from this painful Ferris wheel-like transmigration of one body to the next, one planet to the next. Whether we are high or low, happy or distressed, in this body or that, it doesn't matter because it's all hellish. Our position now is that we are most thankful and forever indebted to you for taking us off this universal merry-go-round.

"The spiritual master is receiving benediction from the ocean of mercy. Just as a raincloud pours water on a forest fire to extinguish it, so the spiritual master delivers the materially afflicted world by extinguishing the blazing fire of material existence. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master who is an ocean of auspicious qualities."
O master, we've tried and tried and tried like imbeciles to enjoy the miragelike variegatedness of this great manifestation. We've been through it all in this lifetime and in so many millions of lifetimes before. Now finally disgusted and exhausted we are through trying. You are so munificent that you were right there just when we needed you, just when we wanted you. By your causeless mercy our cosmic dream is over. You have awakened us to the reality of KRSNA. Vasudevaḥ sarvam iti [Bg 7.19]. There is nothing else.
Brahmanḍa bhramite kona bhagyavan jiva [Cc Madhya 19.151]. While wandering throughout the universe in so many species of life, if one is very fortunate he gets the seed of the creeper of devotion by the mercy of KRSNA and guru.
Without you, Srila Prabhupada, we are lost. Please help us to hang on to your lotus feet. Praying for just one drop of your ocean of mercy, repeatedly we fall at your lotus feet. Jaya Prabhupada!!!
