While we were in our darkest hour
Our eyes were blind, we could not see.
Just like a blooming lotus flower
You blossomed forth to set us free

From the bondage of Maya's darkness
To the light of Krsna's sun.
The mercy of Your Divine Grace
Shines on everyone.

And when we asked you for the Truth
You said Krsna's name is absolute.
To the chanter, the Lord awards the shelter of His lotus feet,
And thus by chanting His holy name our lives can be perfect and complete.

You are the golden Paramahamsa
And all the universe is your lake in which to float.
You bring the nectar across Maya's rough and darkened waters
And you are gliding us home in the transcendental boat.

We prostrate humbly at your lotus feet
Your fallen servants we beg to remain,
Actively engaged to serve you throughout eternity.
