Sri Vyasa-Pūja Homage

On the appearance day of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada from his disciples at Miami ISKCON:

Our spiritual master is himself the perfect example of spiritual life because he is always keeping the instructions of his spiritual master in his heart. He has no other concern; therefore, he is never confused but always fixed. He is fulfilling the principal desire of his Guru Maharaja by enthusiastically printing books, and this effort has amazed the whole world. He has maintained the same attitude of preaching by constantly annihilating the Mayavada philosophy, which has kept us locked in a vacuum of ignorance.

In this Age of Kali, it is practically impossible to become elevated even to the mode of goodness, not to speak of approaching the platform of purified goodness where the Supreme Person Sri Krsna is reached through discharge of pure devotional service. But our spiritual master is such an expert preacher that simply by reading his books anyone can become transformed and destined to become a devotee of Krsna. In fact, we do not find anyone in history who has salvaged such fallen and wretched persons from their race to hell as our spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada. Therefore, let us all take advantage of this blessed day to offer our most humble and grateful obeisances at his lotus feet.

I am most fortunate to have come in contact with such a glorious personality as Srila Prabhupada and I feel very obligated to his eternal service even though I am impurely discharging it. And this above everything else is bringing great pain to my heart. Therefore, let me fall down again and again at the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda and Lord Caitanya, praying to them to give me the benediction that some how or another I might satisfy Srila Prabhupada with my paltry attempts at devotional service; then my life will be complete.
