Māyāpura-candrodaya-mandira Traveling Saṅkīrtana Party

"Glory to the sri-krsna-saṅkirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This saṅkirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious." (Siksastaka, 1)

All glories, all glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. By his causeless mercy he is extinguishing the blazing fire of material existence within the hearts of all fallen, conditioned souls who have come forward to receive his mercy. The science of love of God, Krsna consciousness, is open to everyone, and His Divine Grace appeared on this day for the purpose of carrying on the divine disciplic succession of Lord Sri Krsna (evam paramapara-praptam) and spreading the rays of the benediction moon of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. In this Age of Kali, the golden moon has risen over that holy dhama Sri Mayapura. By the mercy of Gaura-Nitai, Srila Prabhupada desires to take us back to home, back to Godhead through this process of the saṅkirtana movement: Chanting, dancing, feasting on Krsna prasada, and-so very dear to our beloved spiritual master-distribution of his books. By rendering service to him and studying the knowledge of Krsna consciousness, one may approach Krsna. There is no other way to obtain perfection. Therefore, on this most auspicious day we fall at your lotus feet, Srila Prabhupada, in hopes that we, the members of Sri Mayapura-Candrodaya-mandira traveling party, may somehow or other help your Divine Grace spread the rays of the benediction moon.
