Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. Every day we are all experiencing more and more of your separation, and we feel a pain that increases our love for you. You are the lord and master of all devotees, and therefore our hearts feel real rejoicing when we meditate on taking shelter at your lotus feet. Your Divine Grace has given everything in the form of Krsna consciousness. Your merciful associate is matchless, because just through it we can attain pure love of Krsna. We wish to develop our personal pure relationship with you, and thus feel completely confident, with no fear at all, being protected by the shadow of your lotus feet. Our perfection is to fulfill your desires, which are implicit in your books, in your words, in your example, and in all the transcendental purposes you started. Therefore, Your Divine Grace is the fountainhead of our inspiration for loving Krsna purely, and there can never be anything more magnanimous or significant in our lives than Your Divine Grace, who opened our eyes with the torchlight of transcendental knowledge.
In the innermost region of our feelings there is recorded the sweet and spiritual sound and emanation from your lotus lips, the dazzling effulgence that emanates from your Deity, and the tender and magnificent character of your spotless pure devotion for the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
brahmanḍa bhramite kona bhagyavan jiva
guru-krsna-prasade paya bhakti-lata-bija
O Gurudeva, patita-pavana! After transmigrating over and over this ocean of miseries, you have planted in our hearts the seed of bhakti. Taking shelter at your lotus feet in this homage to Your Divine Grace, we are all prepared to serve your eternally and fulfill your instructions with the best of our faith and devotion, which increases day after day, although we are so fallen.
yasya prasadad bhagavat-prasado
yasyaprasadan na gatiḥ kuto 'pi
dhyayan stuvams tasya yasas tri-sandhyam
vande guroḥ sri-caranaravindam
"By the mercy of the spiritual master one receives the benediction of Krsna. Without the grace of the spiritual master, one cannot make any advancement. Therefore, I should always remember and praise the spiritual master. At least three times a day I should offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of my spiritual master."
