Sri Vyasa Pūja
To Our Dearmost Spiritual Master,
We all humbly offer our heartfelt obeisances and appreciations for the unlimited blessings bestowed by Your Divine Grace. In this confusing age of bewildering cataclysms, a source of actual spiritual enlightenment is indeed rare. But you stand above foolish man's candle light probe into Krsna's actual nature. For those conditioned souls groping in the pitch of darkness of maya's labyrinth, Your Divine Grace extends a friendly hand of guidance to anyone fortunate enough to accept. In the murky vortex of maya's cauldron, you are the calm eye of the storm, giving a universal panacea. Because you are continually bathe in the effulgence of Sri Radha-Krsna's divine love emanating from the spiritual realm, we can have a transparent via media to that beautiful fountainhead of creation. Saturated by thoughts of the divine form of Sri Krsna, your association purifies our diseased mentality.
Due to your compassionate nature you have taken the duty of transforming crows into swans. Appearing as an old man, you are actually in eternal youth always dancing with Krsna. Sometimes we can even hear Krsna's flute through the din, playing as you dance. Although you originally appeared as a poor mendicant, we can see that Krsna has given you inestimable wealth.
We have tried the medicine offered by the false gurus and choked on its poison. But Your Divine Grace has not tried to alter the original message of Krsna. Thus, because your prescription is unadulterated, it has unlimited efficacy. Being a perfect mystic, the transcendental land of Vrndavana is injected into the gray clouded men of Kali by your potent words. Then your message creates a metamorphosis in the sullen living entities; they become bright faced and exhilarated, and appear as jolly madmen, overwhelmed with the intoxicating effect of Krsna's divine name. By associating with the dust of your transcendental lotus feet, thousands of such happy madmen have appeared.
As the most beneficent Paramahamsa, the essence of all knowledge of the entire creation has been extracted and simplified by you. Both the most erudite and the most intelligent can easily take refuge of your humble request: "Come back home to play with your dearmost friend whom you have forgotten." That friend, Sri Krsna, Lord of everyone's heart, is known most intimately by you. We were all dried up on the burning desert of mental speculation and sense gratification. You have presented us an unlimited ocean of immortal nectar.
How can we thank you in an appropriate manner? We shall eternally remain grateful and in your debt for freely distributing this great wealth of Krsna consciousness to us.
Simply by serving the pure devotee all the demigods become pleased. We also feel great satisfaction in your service, because you are pleasing Sri Hari, Krsna. The greatest wealth in the universe is association of a pure devotee. He knows the name, form, pastimes and paraphernalia of the Lord. We hope to somehow or other become your assistants by bringing more and more persons into your association. Thank you so very much.
Your humble servants, ISKCON London
