We hope we may invoke the pleasure

of he whose glories have no measure,

the servant of the lotus feet of God,

The bringer of the maha-mantra,

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta

Swami Maharaja Prabhupada.

He heard from the authority,

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati

Who entrusted him with Lord Caitanya's teachings,

Then acting at the Lord's behest,

He sailed to the degraded West

to satisfy his master by his preaching.

He found is in the degradation

of illicit sex, intoxication,

gambling and unrestricted killing.

But by his mercy and his kindness,

he cured us of your sinful blindness

and picked us up when no one else was willing.

We were surely on our way to hell,

thinking our bodies to be ourselves

and thinking God impersonal of nothing.

But he showed us that we're spirit souls,

servants of the Spirit whole-

Lord Sri Krsna personal and loving.

He saves us from mundane frustration

and spiritual self-annihilation,

appearing as our transcendental savior

To bring us back to bhagavata-dharma,

Unalloyed by jnana and karma,

engaging us in serving Krsna favor.

He boldly challenged scientists,

religionists and atheists

and members of the Mayavada school.

Showing us that one who's wise

is never one to compromise,

he plainly called them rascals, rogues and fools.

Many men had come before,

promising to show us more

but the came just to bluff us and to cheat.

yet he came not to take our money,

but to let us taste the honey

flowing from Lord Krsna lotus feet.

We cannot hope to fully glorify or understand

The confidential servant from the transcendental land

who saved us from our miserable condition.

O Prabhupada! We therefore beg for but a drop of your compassion

So that we may always be engaged in transcendental action

to further spread Your Lordship's holy mission.
