Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Like the eternal causal ocean, your mercy for the fallen souls knows no limits. You have plucked us out of this ditch of materialistic life, which is compared (Cc. Antya 6.193) to a hole into which people pass stool, and now there is no way we can repay you but to eternally become your menial servants. How unfortunate that we are unable to understand all that you have done for us, for our seeing is of no value unless our eyes are fixed on you.

Our eyes were tightly closed shut and you forced them open with the transcendental secrets of your divine love. Until we met you, we had no knowledge of what real love was. Seeing your humility so sublime, a personality so true and kind, we've become so attracted that we are unable to leave your association, remaining your servants till the end of eternal time.

Please accept our sincere obeisances at your lotus feet, Srila Prabhupada, even though we're so terribly unqualified, our hearts being full of sinful desires. All we can do is to try our hardest to serve you with determination and respect, hoping against hope, by Krsna's mercy, we will develop loving devotional service to you, without any self-motivation. Force us by the power of your pure love to serve Lord Caitanya and accept this distribution of love of God as our very life and soul.

O master, give us the courage and strength to preach this sublime message throughout the world. Maya is so strong that all we can do is constantly pray to you for protection. Please give us the intelligence to understand and accept your divine instructions, for you have become our intelligence to lead us back home, back to Godhead. May Krsna give us strength, so that once having caught hold of your lotus feet, nothing will make us let go.

How fortunate for us that we've chosen to accept your mercy. You are so wealthy that you make no distinctions as to whom you give your mercy. You freely distribute the mercy of your books to everyone. Truly, how can we estimate the potency of these priceless gems-each one with the power to annihilate unlimited sinful activities. If it were not for you and your books, the world would have been devoid of knowledge of Krsna. You have so kindly dedicated your life to translating the wealth of bhakti into so many languages, destroying the impersonalists, voidists and nonsense rascals that claim to be God. You have written so expertly that you shake the dull heads of the gross materialists and clearly establish the supremacy of Vaisnavism. You are working so hard for us, Prabhupada, that we think that you are trying to take the whole universe back to Krsna with you. Surely, after reading all your books, who will not be attracted? For thousands of eons we will be able to taste the nectar of your association, through the medium of your books.

O master, take these worthless specks and place us along with the dust of your lotus feet. Now that we've tasted the nectar of your association we can think of nothing else worth striving for but to see your brilliant smile upon your insignificant servants. No words can describe the feeling we get when we see you smile; our hearts become filled with transcendental bliss. Surely Krsna must have taught you all these wonderful things.

Of course you know, Srila Prabhupada, that we may write many words about how much love we feel for you, but only by our activities can we actually prove that love. When we are able to give up everything, as you had, for preaching the glories of devotional service to Krsna, without deviation, then we will really be able to speak of what love really is.

So now, following in the footsteps of our father, we will continue to preach your holy message for the benefit of all living entities. Lord Caitanya says:

Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya (Krsna) have ordered us to deliver this message to everyone we meet, and so now our duty is clear-that we must accept these orders as our very life and soul and preach, preach, preach. Jaya Prabhupada! May your transcendental love constantly increase.
