To Parama-punya Om Visnupada Paramahamsa Parivrajakacarya 108 Sri Srimad Tridanḍi Gosvami Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Maharaja,

This Krsna consciousness movement, which you have kindly established, is the embodiment of your mercy. Because it directly gives one the opportunity for devotional service, it is nondifferent from the Supreme Lord and His pleasure potency. How can anyone begin to properly understand and glorify your inconceivable kindness to give renegades like us this engagement of devotional service unto Krsna, who is known as Acintya. This is not only the topmost science of life, it is the only real knowledge. No one thought to and no one dared before to speak the truth, to reveal the fraud of nirvisesa-sūnyavadi. Actually no one had the capacity:

The living entity is entangled inextricably in the brahmanḍa or material nature of birth and death.

"Attaining repeated birth amongst the species of demoniac life, such persons can never approach Me. Gradually they sink down to the most abominable type of existence." (Bg. 16.20) How then, can those who cannot even get beyond the reaches of these activities of sense gratification understand the truth about Krsna?

"And I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is the constitutional position of ultimate happiness, and which is immortal, imperishable and eternal." (Bg. 14.27) If one cannot even understand Brahman, then how can one understand the supreme source of Brahman? There is no cause for this understanding.

"Neither the hosts of demigods nor the great sages know My origin, for in every respect, I am the source of the demigods and sages." (Bg. 10.2) The knowledge of the scientists is bewildered by the Supreme Lord's energies.

"Deluded by the three mode [goodness, passion and ignorance], the whole world does not know Me who am above the modes and inexhaustible." (Bg. 7.13) You are the greatest scientist because you are revealing the supreme soul of the universe. How then can we, who are fools, appreciate what you are doing for us by giving this Hare Krsna maha-mantra? How can we appreciate the value of a moment of your association, which has picked us out of the asuric janmani janmani? Everyone here is fast asleep. You have caksur unmilitam-placed us on your lap of compassion and pried open our eyes. No one who is even slightly impure can approach Sri Krsna.

"Persons who have acted piously in previous lives and in this life, whose sinful actions are completely eradicated and who are freed from the duality of delusion, engage themselves in My service with determination." (Bg. 7.28) We don't even know who to surrender to or how to surrender. You simply are the grace of Sri Krsna.

We are hopelessly caught in the grip of maya and are not seeking any shelter but maya. Yet you are guiding us. You are clearly representing Sri Krsna's greatest capacity of devotional service. You have come to call back to Godhead all conditioned souls on this planet. We are allured by seeing your greatest opulence, something we could never have dreamt of before-pure love of Godhead. Kintu prabhor yaḥ priya eva tasya vande guroḥ sri-caranaravindam. Just a small taste given by you of Sri Caitanya's mercy makes us mad to want to dance. Your thousands of disciples are running everywhere like crazy, giving everyone your books. We can actually have only one prayer, and that is to become situated firmly at your lotus feet, free from any conditions. Let us pray to simply always remain in your eternal service.
