To our dearest Srila Prabhupada,

We have been searching for you all our lives, and through Lord Krsna's mercy our searching and waiting is over. We were without life before we met Your Grace; simply dead bodies, not being able to distinguish reality from illusion. You have taken these dead bodies and given them life through devotional service. We can only bow at your lotus feet.

What kind of love could take a heart as cold as ice, and melt it into a flowing river? What kind of physician could take a pair of blind eyes and let them see the unapproachable form of Govinda? What kind of teacher could take a helpless child, and teach him the essence of true knowledge, the end of all learning, KRSNA, the Supreme Personality of Godhead? What kind of mercy could save a wretch like me? We can only bow at your lotus feet.

As a small baby is always in need of a nurse, so we are always in need of your mercy. As the young horse stands on weak legs, so we are barely standing above the horrible mire of illusion. Oh, Prabhupada, we need your support. As the spoiled child is always asking for something, so we are always asking from you. We have nothing to give; we can only bow at your lotus feet.

My worthless words flutter as unintelligible sounds below the sublime vibrations that utter from your lotus like mouth. Oh, Gurudeva, you know that we can only speak by your mercy. Please let me bow at your lotus feet.
