To Srila Prabhupada, Krsna's causeless mercy,

By our own desire we took to this inferior position, just as one changes gold for stones. Such is our miserable condition, that even what is evident is for us the greatest mystery. We, insignificant dust specks, have been benedicted with your compassion, and now have the opportunity of knowing real from unreal, bliss and ecstatic love from mere mundane sentimentalism.

Patiently, over and over you teach us how to serve the Lord. By your grace it is possible, even for us, the greatest rascals, to be engaged. What was rotten and considered lost is now turning to be fresh and youthful. What was dead and useless is now full of life. Your endless love of God is sustaining humanity from its ultimate end, and just because you are here we can say there is life on this planet.

You have accepted so many inconveniences to come to this abominable part of the world to teach us of His Name and Qualities!

Is it possible not to love he who has bought the nectar that is alleviating the pains of our great mistake of leaving Krsna?

An interminable ocean of transcendental sounds is flowing from your lips, quenching our soul's thirst. O spiritual master! Don't let us loose. We need your constant guidance. Being engaged in the service of your lotus feet, our lives are of some value.
