Our beloved spiritual master Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept our most respectful obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet, which are as refreshing as the light of thousands of moons, and which are our only refuge from the constant attacks that we suffer at the hands of the powerful energy of maya.

Oh Srila Prabhupada, we were always entangled in the material energy of maha-maya. We were always engaged in the lowest forms of sense gratification. We were afflicted and tormented, being without protection and shelter. But you, O Jagad-guru, came to answer our cry, dedicating your life to saving us suffering, fallen souls, and thus giving up the peaceful atmosphere of the holy places like Vrndavana and Mayapur. You came to the hellish Western countries, full of voidism and impersonalism, thus satisfying the desire if Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu and the order of your beloved spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada.

Srila Rūpa Gosvami said that one who has desires to enjoy material things should never look at the young face of Govinda, for we know, beloved master, that it would be then impossible to go with material life. Here we had experienced in Brazil a little bit of Krsna consciousness, but suddenly everything was finished and we began to suffer separation.

Thus, in this painful condition, we begged for your help. We asked that you extend your hand to pull us out of the mire of material life. Immediately by your causeless mercy, you came and saved us. You saved us from drowning in illusion, from the physical relations of the material world. You saved us from forgetting Krsna. How, Srila Prabhupada, can we show our gratitude? What do we have to give you, except what you have given to us? Since we are nothing, and we have nothing, we only beg you that you accept our body, words and mind in your service, and that you use us like puppets in your mission to satisfy Krsna through the sahkirtana-yajna. We are begging, Srila Prabhupada, only that you never stop engaging us in the service of the Lord, and that you permit that even in spite of our constant offenses that we go on purifying ourselves on the service of your lotus feet. Where else can we find shelter, and what else can we do except serve Your Divine Grace?

This immense country is completely in the darkness of ignorance, its thousands and thousands of persons simply sinking in nescience. We have the fervent desire to show these people that you are the acarya, the pure devotee of the Lord. We want to show them that you have come here within the mahat-tattva only for the purpose of giving them krsna-prema, but without your mercy, our endeavors to show them will be all useless.

We implore you, Srila Prabhupada, prostrated with our heads in the dust of your feet, for your blessings and your mercy. O beloved Guru, this entire world will be reconquered for its original owner, Lord Sri Krsna. You have explained to us that the material energy is a product of the spiritual energy. Therefore, the whole world can be turned into Vaikuntha, if we have your mercy. Therefore, we will go on fighting hard, waiting for the day when, by your grace, we return to transcendental bliss.
