approaching the West fixed in aim
to speak Krsna Consciousness all around
by preaching and writing the holy sound.

Your Divine Grace has executed this mission
so selfless, so relentless without diminution.
You are teaching the fallen what is their real life
devotional service to God, free from anger and strife.

Your brilliance is like the sun at noon
and your presence alone is an infinite boon.
Such a person Bhagwat is inconceivably rare
and by your grace alone we are able to fare.

Our pioneer Bhaktivinode has predicted
Europeans and Americans he has depicted,
chanting and dancing together-not imagination
but reality now due to your determination.

In Bhagavad-gita Lord Krsna says
of all devotees, the preacher is the dearest of His.
So that preaching you have done in the most wonderful way
by a flood tide of scripture and pure example each day.

Your purity of principles no one can top
and your preaching work no one can stop.
You have spread Krsna's glories to each village and town
and no impediment exists that can ever push you down.

So as your disciples, our duty is clear-
Your message, intact, must be spread far and near.
To this we do pledge with full heart and soul-
The sahkirtana yajna will be our prime goal.
