jihva-phalam tvadrsa-kirtanam hi

Lord Krsna never directly consorts with maya; He simply casts His glance over the material energy and creation occurs. So also you, Srila Prabhupada, come from Vrndavana untouched to rescue us from this ocean of illusion, yet the waves of this ocean never disturb you. Your body is the manifestation of Gaurahga's mercy, and by seeing you our spiritual sight is restored. What sunrise can match the gleam of your smile?
We come in touch with you by taking the shelter of your lotus feet, and because you have taken shelter of the lotus feet of the Lord, we become sanctified. You are spiritual touchstone, transforming iron-hearted materialists into devotees of the Lord. As Maharaja Ambarisa would not touch anyone except pure devotees, similarly we only want your association.
How can we glorify you with our frog-like tongues? We are in this world of illusioned men. But you are not. You are our guru-maharaja, come to take us home. There is no one more merciful than you. We are your servants, and we beg to offer you our respectful obeisances.
