On this most auspicious occasion, we, the members of Your Divine Grace's BBT Library Party, would life to offer our repeated danḍavats at your lotus feet. Your Divine Grace has assured us that you will continue to live forever in the message contained in your spiritual literatures. By your grace alone, universities, colleges, religious institutions, temple libraries, public libraries, big business establishments and cultured individuals continue to order complete sets of your "Encyclopedia," to the amazement of all other commercial booksellers. Now thousands and thousand of standing orders have been established all over India, Southeast Asia, Australia and the South Pacific.
Srila Prabhupada, by your inconceivable limitless spiritual energy, you have instilled in us the transcendental realization that your words carry your potency. We have practically experienced that your potency is the very same potency possessed by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. You are His representative, and your words are His words. You are His instrument, and Lord Caitanya is thus enlightening all the countries of the earth through His purest, most selfless, and most qualified representative-Your Divine Grace. If Lord Caitanya Himself were to prepare English commentaries on the Srimad-Bhagavatam, His message would be the same as your message. Hence, Lord Caitanya, and Lord Krsna also live in your words.
Out of His great affection for you, Lord Caitanya has bestowed upon you all the laurels of becoming the first world-acarya on this earth. He rightly knew that only you could be trusted to remain one-hundred-percent steadfast in His service. And now the stage is set; the world will rush to follow your example. They fail miserably in life who fail to read the books and follow the teachings of Your Divine Grace, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The head of that person who is not always bowed down at your lotus feet is fit only for the nagapasa of the Yamadūtas or the scimitar of Lord Kalki.
By touching, reading, speaking on behalf of, and distributing these potent astras (weapons) against maya, we hope we rank among those fortunate servants of yours who are first in line to receive your causeless mercy. Please continue to bless us more and more. Magnanimous Srila Prabhupada, you are our only shelter, our only hope. We have no chance in the world of attaining even slight genuine success without your constant grace. Through your mercy, the BBT Library Party has become a blissful team of real Godbrothers. By our accepting upon our lowly heads your imparted instructions that we spread this movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in a spirit of cooperation, you have enabled us to experience the unparalleled transcendental pleasure of pleasing you in some little way. Having never tasted anything so wonderful before, we are now experiencing a fresh, new and ever-increasing hunger which can be appeased only by placing standing orders of your beautifully bound sabda-brahma in libraries all over this planet. Just as the sixty thousand sons of King Sagara left no stone unturned in their search for the lost sacrificial horse, so we will leave no library untouched and no librarian unswayed by the transcendental potency of your books, until we again taste that nectar. You are blessing us and empowering us with the same spiritual energy that enabled Your Divine Grace to purify and completely turn about the hearts of so many meat-eating mlecchas, which is the most inconceivable achievement within or without the science of yoga. Who can know your real identity? Who can place limits on your transcendental glories?
In these Southeast Asian countries, our work often takes us into the very darkest regions of ignorance. Some libraries belong to universities and colleges, some are national, some private, some cultural, some purely "technological and scientific", and all are repositories of complete ignorance, with perhaps a glimpse of passion and goodness. Many are directed by literally snake-eating atheists. Let it be. They will all take your mercy somehow or other. There is no stopping this movement. Who can stop a tidal wave, an avalanche, or the wind? Matter is the dictionary of the spirit, says Thakura Bhaktivinoda. The will of the Lord is similarly irresistible. And by your sublime mercy, Srila Prabhupada, we have become the instruments through which this inevitable tide will continue to swell. Therefore we pray again and again, hoping against hope that we may become simply empowered to please Your Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada. All glories, all glories, all glories to your most worshipable vani (written spiritual guidance) by which everyone now has that rare opportunity of intimate association with an unalloyed pure devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krsna.
Your insignificant servants,

Appendix: Since hundreds of Asia's foremost leaders, educators adhikari scholars have sent in glowing letters of sincere appreciation of your books, Srila Prabhupada, we have included a typical review from a Sanskrit scholar along with our humble homage. It speaks on behalf of all scholars of the world who are now beginning to see the absolute necessity of accepting the teachings of Your Divine Grace.
Review from The Hindu Dharma Prathishthanam, Tirumala
"I have had the pleasure of perusing some volumes of the edition of Srimad-Bhagavatam, and in particular the Fifth Canto, Volume Two, which deals with the cosmogony of the universe, translated from Sanskrit into English and commented upon by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Scholars know full well that the Bhagavatam is an encyclopedia of Vedic knowledge. What is most thrilling about this particular edition is that His Divine Grace, whom I look upon as nothing short of an avatara of Godhead, born into a mortal coil with the very purpose of cleansing the present-day world of its profane subhuman mundaneness of outlook and spiritualizing it, wields a pen which seems as though monitored by the very Bhagavan Vyasa. Apart from the various noteworthy qualities of this Bhaktivedanta Book Trust edition, which includes original Sanskrit verses in Devanagari script, a transliteration thereof, pratipadartha which a layman requires, a translation in the most spirited language, and ultimately a delineation of the purport which illumines the very heart and soul of Bhagavan Vyasa, this monumental work, I am sure, is going to survive millenniums just the same way as the very Sanskrit Bhagavata could survive to this very day, overcoming all rampages of time.
"What thrills me further about this edition is that His Divine Grace puts fire into his pen and writes so that he pours molten lead over the heads of the earthbound nations of the world which are destined to die their death if they do not care to heed the message contained in these volumes (cf. purports).
"Schools, colleges and universities of the world at large fail in their job if their libraries do not get adorned by these volumes, which are capable of floodlighting the dark caves of the hearts of the present-day students who have been groping in darkness as it were, for want of light. It is not revelation to say that all education is a waste if it does not contact and illume the hearts of students who are coming as though for bread and are being treated with stones in the education institutes nowadays. In the entire curricula of the universities which could cater to the needs of students in this behalf, be they of science or the humanities, there are no books comparable with this edition of Srimad-Bhagavatam to serve a holy purpose and a divine mission.
"As one who has ordered all these editions for the Annamacharya Kala Mandir library, of which I am the custodian, as one who has had the real light from these editions, I announce to the public at large that it is their duty as human beings to save their souls from perdition by benefiting from a study of these editions. It is a pleasure to record that day-in and day-out, hundreds of the local elite personages have been benefiting by a study of these volumes.
"just one more sentence about the Fifth Canto, Part Two, which I have read with great interest. This volume enlightens us on the cosmogony of the universe which was revealed by the sage Bhagavan Vyasa as per his spiritual intuition. The hierarchy of the celestial globes have their sequential positions herein not as per a spatial vision of flesh but in accord with a Srila Prabhupada eye that comprehends the universe as a whole. As it is said in the Veda, pado 'sya visva bhūtani, tripadasyamrtam divi: 'The totality of cosmic manifestation is only a part of Godhead; much more lies beyond in the immortal heavens.'"
