We thank you so much, Srila Prabhupada, for you have saved us from missing the opportunity of human life, of becoming free from birth, death, old age and disease, which is the dream of every living entity! You experienced much personal hardship to bring us these instructions of Lord Krsna for our own benefit, and so many times you forgave us for our offensive habits. Though we could not fully understand your teachings due to our impurities of mind and heart, still you continually encouraged us to come up to the standard of krsna-seva by your own virtues: patience, compassion, purity, forbearance, humility, vast knowledge … the list is endless! Now we can see the highest perfection of human ideals, which previously we had thought impossible to attain. No one else has ever given us so much knowledge of God, His creation and our relationship with Him; no one else cared so much, nor felt so much love as to become impervious to material impediments. You have given us a practical philosophy of life that will benefit not only ourselves but every single living entity in conditional existence. In twenty-eight languages the eternal knowledge (sambandha-jnana), the eternal dharma (bhakti) and the eternal mood (krsna-prema) have been elucidated by you in the most easily understood approach. Though we have no qualification, we take up your mission with eager hearts and fixed minds, praying that by your grace we may be able to please you, and thereby please the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna.
