Our dear Srila Prabhupada,

All glories to your effulgent divine grace! You have come with the glorious message of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, at the request of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada, in order to deliver our wretched selves from this dark world, deep in the grip of impersonalism and voidism. Because you are absorbed in love for Govinda, you emanate ecstatic prema, "prema bhakti yaha hoi-te," and you purify anyone and everyone that comes under your shelter. You rid us of the ignorance that covers us, "avidya vinasa yate." The Bhagavad-gita gives us the system for receiving bonafide transcendental knowledge-"evam parampara praptam imam rajarsayo viduḥ" (Bg. 4.2), and you are coming in the powerful Brahma-Gauḍiya-Vaisnava Sampradaya disciplic line. We have practically seen the results of your devotional potency. So many disciples are now bright-faced and blissful simply by chanting the maha-mantra and following the four regulative principles (no eating of flesh, intoxication, illicit sex life or gambling). You once told a reporter that "No one wants to undergo any austerity … people want everything very cheaply," and thus "for something genuine, the followers may be very little-for something rubbish, the followers may be many." Because we have observed that so many mlecchas and other such degraded persons have actually given up their sinful activities and are following these afore-mentioned principles, having come under your shelter, we conclude that you are the representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. No one else could accomplish such a feat. Still, not one of us can begin to appreciate or understand the depth of your love for Radha-Krsna because we are conditioned to see through our blunt senses. All we can do is offer our inadequate, insincere obeisances and try to serve you by hearing, chanting, preaching and carrying out your instructions.

You have expressed your desire that we "take over the United States and make it Krsna conscious," and in order to do this we should become serious about this preaching work. In order to make a revolution against this godless society we must scrutinizingly study your books, which are reservoirs of beauty and truth, and then…

…armed with the weapon of knowledge we must fight and kill the demoniac mentality which has covered and contaminated the hearts of all conditioned souls. Your Divine Grace has stated that America is one of the best places, having taken up the motto, "In God We Trust." Therefore, taking full advantage of that motto and the political sentiment of the people in general, we've begun to describe who God is and how to trust Him, through the media of politics. In this way the public will hear your nectarine, transcendental messages about Krsna. This is another example of Your Divine Grace's expertise in fulfilling Krsna's will through transcendental cunningness and unwavering determination. You are showering your mercy on everyone, as the cloud pours water on the forest fire, by one means or another. Those who will not read or try to understand your books will have the chance to know your transcendental messages by reading the newspaper articles of the political clashes between the devotees and the demons. In this way the whole society will change their hearts through your causeless mercy. It is due to this inconceivable mercy that we have been allowed to act as instruments on your behalf.

We pray on this most glorious day of your appearance that we may remain ever fixed in your loving service, keeping a humble and submissive attitude, fully surrendering our minds, bodies and words unto you. We beg to put our unworthy selves under your divine protection as your eternal servitors.
