Bhagavan Mahārāja

By your mercy you left Vrndavana-dhama
To bring the medicine of hari-nama.

You came to the West to set us free,
Your Divine Grace was filled with krsna-sakti.

Krsna's pure devotee, like the honeybee,
Gave us the sweet taste of krsna-bhakti.

The nondevotee's night, the devotee's day,
You gave us-param drstva nivartate.

By the ignorance of science the world would rot,
Not knowing the difference between sat and asat.

But by your grace the world has seen
The Supreme Person Krsna, the param gatim.

Thus on your command we submit to you,
Though we're most unqualified to become guru.

You have predicted, as time goes on,
The world-felt victory of nama-sahkirtana.

Joining together, your dream will come true
Of a monumental temple for Mahaprabhu.

We have no fear of this world we are in,
For you still guide us from Goloka Vrndavana.

We pray by your grace, that the time will come,
To once more touch your lotus feet-in Krsna's dhama.

But even in your leaving us, we feel you not far,
Our hearts are always with you in vipralambha.
