Vidārbha Kanya Dāsī

Vidarbha Kanya Dasi
My dear Srila Prabhupada,
Please accept my most humble obeisances. All the prabhus gather together unto Your Divine lotus feet and there prostrate themselves chanting "nama om visnu-padaya krsna-presthaya bhū-tale srimate bhaktivedanta-svamin iti namine. Namas te sarasvate deve gaura-vani-pracarine nirvisesa-sūnyavadi-pascatya-desa-tarine." And they bring Your Divine Grace garlands of beautiful flowers to place over You head and around Your neck. So, too, do I pay my respects, begging humbleness, and by Your divine and unfathomable mercy I pray also to string a garland of my life and energy-and I want to give it to You, Srila Prabhupada, I want to give it to You. I want to give it to You.
O Srila Prabhupada, it is by taking Your mercy-offering alone that I can become a garland in Your service. Your mercy showers and endless sweet rain, but I am fool enough to hide under the leaves of maya. I beg to come; I beg to open and receive Your mercy. Then, just as the flowers give themselves in full service, so, too, can I give myself at You lotus feet.
Your Divine Grace is my spiritual master. I wish no one else so much in my mind or in my heart.
Hare Krsna.
