All glories to the most worthy servant of His Divine Grace Sri Srimad Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Prabhupada.

I who am standing in darkness do offer my respectful obeisances unto His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, who has come to me and forced my eyes to open to the torchlight of knowledge.

Srila Prabhupada, Your service is our only purpose in life. Through Your causeless mercy only we are being awakened from our deathlike material sleep. You have opened our eyes to the prison of material existence in which maya has kept us since that time in the far distant past when we chose to leave our home and our loving relationship with the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna. We are trapped in this prison by our desires for the stool of temporary matter, and You alone on this whole planet of death are helping us to escape. You are pounding down the walls of nescience and sawing through the bars of lust, anger, and greed. But still we are searching in every corner of our cell for somewhere to hide from the truth which is shining in through the crevices made by Your mighty blows. But there is nowhere to hide. You will not let us hide. Help us, Srila Prabhupada. Help us transcend our tiny selves and our selfish desire so that we can immerse our beings in service to You in Your great mission as given to You by His Divine Grace Sri Srimad Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Maharaja Prabhupada. All glories to Sri Guru and Gaurahga!
