Prahladananda Dasa
Dear Srila Prabhupada,
Through this dungeon I have desired and still too ignorant to leave. I've faintly heard you cry in the light asking me to come see. You who are in love with everyone and everything are at Krsna's feet and He at Yours. The clouds come and go, but the moonshine of your smile dissolves them, and so now and then I can see more clearly. "Oh Krsna! Oh! Most auspicious universe!" My pride covers my humility, so to see what I cannot see I must surrender to Your lotus feet. Devotional service and the kingdom of God are one and the same. Your Divine Grace at Boston Airport. I see you in this picture here, one hand holding a bead bag in the air, waving to the devotees. "Kiba jaya jaya goracander arotiki sobha." How happy the must have been, bowing down at your lotus feet. "Jahnavi-tata vane jaga jana-manlobha." When will I accept my Godbrothers and surrender at their feet. I turn to Lord Jagannatha and smile-You're real. The pleasure that I feel tells me I'm going home. Lord Caitanya in ecstasy of love walks to Vrndavana, and the animals dance with Him. "Sing ye. O animals, the name of Krsna." "You may see Lord Jaganatha smile, but you would faint if you actually saw Him." "Oh when will my mind be completely purified so that I may be able to see Vrndavana as it is?" "The real thing is bhakti, your feeling. Krsna, kindly take. I have no qualification. I am rotten, fallen. (Srila Prabhupada is crying.) But I have brought this thing for You. Please take." "You may all think that I am very advanced, but I pray to Krsna every day to protect me from maya." To be personal must be amazing. If I could hear you, then I would know.
Your fallen servant,
Prahladananda Dasa
