O Srila Prabhupada, only by your kindness, only by your patience, were we ever saved from further ignorance. O Srila Prabhupada, only by your mercy, only by your grace, could we have ever seen a sliver of a trace of Krsna.

Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept my humble obeisances at Your lotus feet, the potency of such feet being such as to attract even the most maya-stricken soul and almost inconceivably, force him to serve Krsna almost against his will. The dog in the street is engrossed in trying to satisfy his senses, but the rays of Your lotus feet have caught his eye, and now he is trying to drag himself past the flickering mundane pleasures which line the road to the dust of Your lotus feet.

These lotus feet are satisfying. The dog is not very intelligent, but he knows pleasure from pain. The senses burn like fire, but Your lotus feet are putting out this fire with the higher taste of spiritual pleasure.
