To our eternal beloved spiritual father Srila Prabhupada whose dhoti we aspire to cling to.

We, your most fallen servants from Virginia Beach Dhama offer our respectful dandavats from all sides seeking shelter at your Lotus Feet and offering to you on your Vyasa-puja this simple poem of praise of your most merciful Divine Grace.

On this day, Your Vyasa-Puja
in the most respectful mood
with our heads bowed humbly at Your feet
we pray that Your service we may always keep.

You are the source of rivers of compassion
that spread over this globe of hostile nations,
burning with unsatiated lust, anger and hate
You call upon all to surrender this ghastly fate.

Interrupting nonsense covering the entire planet
Instructing Your disciples about the way Lord Ramacandra ran it,
shaping us up so we can ship out now
well wisher of everyone, especially the brahmanas and the cows.

Oh son of Nrsimha, Guru most dear,
bestower of life, destroyer of fear,
transcendental dentist extracting rotten teeth, vikarma,
filling up cavities with sanatana-dharma.

Your lotus feet extending
spreading shelter from despair,
soothing wounds we could not heal
lifting burdens we could not bear.

Syamasundara dances on your voice of divine bliss
barging untouched through the gates of maya's tricks,
flowing from Your lotus lips are transcendental sounds
carrying us to Vrndavana where bliss knows no bounds.

Your divine grace with blooming parijata smile
you have so mercifully given shelter for an eternal while,
if we take one step toward You, You reach out a mile
You offer us love of Krsna instead of mucus, air and bile.

Now we prepare a raised vyasasana
just suitable for a most royal king,
for You who brought us Krsna's name to sing
and beautiful karatalas to sweetly ring.

Dearest Srila Prabhupada, please accept these eight verses. Please excuse our offenses which are so crude and blind. Thank you for bestowing Your mercy and let us serve You pleasingly for eternal time. We beg to remain at Your feet which never cease to amaze us,
