Having been the most fallen amongst all living beings,
We are deeply illusioned by this witch called Maya.
Our eyes didn't see nor did our ears hear, that
Everybody within this material world finally has to die.
We didn't know anything about God and the purpose of our life.
Though we are the most worthless and helpless amongst all souls
And were sinking down and down towards the clutches of death,
Still, by Your causeless mercy you picked us up
From this ocean of repeated birth and death,
Just like a father saves his child that has been lost.
By opening our eyes and ears with Your Divine Light
You brought us to this understanding, that
Krsna Consciousness is the goal of our life,
And Krsna Himself is our eternal loving Father.
So therefore the only alms we are begging of You,
Our dearmost guru, Srila Prabhupada,
Please keep us engaged in the service of the Supreme Lord.
