A Prayer from a Most Dejected Soul

As Srila Bhaktisiddhanta gave you your orders,
I too have been ordered by you,
A Vaisnava is he,
who makes others Vaisnava.

Your order is clear, my duty set
The whole world must come to Caitanya's feet.
Without your grace what can I do?
Worship your feet, your Divine Grace.

More merciful than the Lord Sri Krsna,
You came to give what the Lord cannot give.
Devotional service is Summum Bonum,
Sri Radhika is your friend.

Kali-yuga has one boon remaining
Your grace comes delivering the Holy Name.
By chanting the damned have all been saved
Including this Bhadravardhana.

Hare Krsna comes straight from Krsnaloka,
but with chanting I have no connection,
Your grace has the right, you have the mace
Now keep me on Caitanya's path.

O when will that day come
when setting aside all thoughts
I shall guilelessly call upon the Holy Name
and see your order as my life and soul.

My Lord your glance is as cooling as the light from millions of moons
By your grace a blind man can cross a great mountain
I pray I may always remember those feet
not daring to gaze upon your lotus face.

Your grace forgive my dumb probation
O the Evangelic Angel! Let me offer my soul at your lotus feet.
