We are completely unworthy of Your mercy. Our life, which was once a stagnant pool of material lust, by Your blessing has become an ocean of transcendental nectar of devotion. Your greatness is only understood by the Supreme Lord, and simply by His mercy upon the fallen He has sent You to deliver us. We pray at Your lotus feet to be constantly engaged in your service, and that is the only way we can hope to show some of the gratitude you are due.
108 times a hundred thousand times a million Glories to You, Srila Prabhupada, for making Yourself so readily available through Your books. You are Krsna's mercy personified and are offering the whole world eternal life at the lotus feet of the Lord.
O eternal spiritual father, You are the true representative of Bhagavata-dharma and are defeating the atheist with Your pure love and perfect knowledge. You have delivered Srimad-Bhagavatam to the Western world, and from Srimad-Bhagavatam we return:
"We think that we have met your goodness by the will of providence just to accept you as captain of the ship which desires to cross over the difficult ocean of Kali which deteriorates all the good qualities of a human being." (Srimad-Bhagavatam, 7.1.22) You have given us life, Srila Prabhupada. By Your mercy alone can we advance in Krsna consciousness. Please help us so that we may use every moment fully in Your loving service.
By Your mercy the world, so full of quarrel, hypocrisy and strife, is being benedicted by Sri Krsna's Sahkirtana yajna. Through You Lord Caitanya's desire is fulfilled as the holy name is spread to every town, village and city in the world. As the touchstone transforms base iron to gold, Your infinite love for Govinda is transforming this godless society to Vaikuntha. With perfectly realized knowledge You pry maya from our hearts. Please make us receptive to Your causeless, ceaseless mercy.
In disciplic succession from the most stalwart pure devotees You have come. You are jagad-guru, spiritual master for this entire universe. You alone have given us the most glorious name, which pierces the hard interknitting knot of material attraction. You are Mahabhagavata and exemplify the teachings of Bhagavad-gita.
"Those who are not deluded, the great souls, are under the protection of the divine nature. They are fully engaged in devotional service because they know Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, original and inexhaustible.
"They are always engaged in chanting My glories. Endeavoring with great determination, offering homage unto Me, they worship Me with great devotion." (Bhagavad-gita, 9.13-14)
"For anyone Who explains this supreme secret to the devotees, devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me.
"There is no servant in this world more dear to Me, than he, nor will there ever be one more dear." (Bhagavad-gita, 18.68-69)
Our fervent prayer is to have eternal service at Your lotus feet. Without You we stay in total darkness. You bear the torch of knowledge. Please pry open our eyes which have been blinded by the darkness of ignorance.
