Our dearmost Srila Prabhupada, it is only by the dint of your guiding benediction and soul quenching grace that we have been allowed to sip from the pure ocean-our Lord Krsna's causeless mercy. Even though we taste but the tiniest rivulets of realization and devotion it is such a relief from the pangs of material miseries. By following your example as servant to the Supreme Lord, Sri Krsna, we are slowly but surely learning to control our mind and senses and to be true friends to everyone, by giving them this simple program of chanting, dancing and feasting. Srila Prabhupada, you are Krsna's messenger so kindly paying this earthly kingdom a visit. Our only duty is to give you the warmest possible reception by helping you in your mission of spreading the rays of Lord Caitanya's benediction moon.

This Amherst asrama is surrounded by a five-college area with about 45,000 students. We've been here three and a half months engaging students and townspeople in the joyous process of glorifying the Supreme Enjoyer through dancing, feasting, chanting, and preparation for the real graduation-eternal, blissful life with Krsna. What nectar! Everyone is thirsty for the absolutely pure association that you, father Srila Prabhupada, are revealing to your blinded children.

There was an average attendance of forty spirit souls at a Krsna class held at the University of Massachusetts. Already there are five new devotees, who are daily distributing books and prasadam on campus and at the Om Tat Sat bookstore in Amherst. The semester was highlighted by a visit from the "First Transcendental Exposition" who presented their transcendental rock opera to hundreds of devotees and students. By this modern media many students were enchanted with Krsna consciousness and impressed with the practicality of isavasya. Even other spiritual movements are attracted to Krsna. We were recently invited to a kunḍalini-yoga restaurant and everybody engaged in a most ecstatic kirtana, mercy!

This summer will find us singing, dancing, chanting and preaching in the New England seaside resorts, attempting to calm some of the agitating whirlpools of material entanglements with that truly "pacific ocean" of transcendental devotion which you have blessed us with. We are confident that these directions from your heart, dearmost Prabhupada, will lead many imprisoned souls from the consuming flame into the illuminating light of Godhead.
