Nitai dāsa Brahmacarī

I wish to offer my most humble and heartfelt obeisances to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who appeared on this date just before the turn of the century in the family of a pure devotee. He has been charged, by the highest authority, with the responsibility of spreading this pure love of God to the western world, where the rampant disease of impersonalism and voidism are the causes of so much spiritual confusion and are the roots of the soul-killing civilization current here today. With His Divine Grace's coming, the dam of delusion was broken, and the western world is being flooded with pure love for God-the same joyous inundation that first swept throughout India 500 years ago with the advent of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the most merciful of all incarnations. Please know it to be true that if it were not for His Divine Grace, I would have been dragged by the seething undercurrent of lust out into the nether regions of anger and hatred to grope in that darkness for any phantom shape. But instead, although my help is certainly unneeded, he has engaged me in helping to spread this benediction to all mankind. So I kick my particles of dust into the ocean of nescience where Srila Prabhupada is floating transcendental boulders for crossing safely and soundly to the shores of Goloka Vrndavana, where some One awaits our arrival. Thus my good fortune has been made. I pray that I shall never forget how good that fortune is nor how it came by me. I offer my most prostrated obeisances unto the lotus feet of His Divine Loving Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, uttama guru.
