Narottamānanda Dāsa

Srila Prabhupada, when I say your name, why do no tears come to my eyes? Why are not my throat and lungs chokes up with cough? You are the eternal servant of Radha and Krsna and have come to answer the cries of all fallen souls. Bearing the holy name as a weapon of love, You have conquered our hearts which were ever steeped in ignorance, and now You are leading us home. Srila Prabhupada, You are the personification of the mercy of Lord Nityananda and have dragged this soul from the depths of his crowlike association, and You have placed him in the company of swans. Srila Prabhupada, I pray for the day that I can bring you joy. You have given me Krsna. But where is my desire to serve? Why is it that my mind and senses are uncontrolled?

I pray the time will come that my mind will think of You and my senses will be engaged only in Your service. I pray for that day that I can, with all humility and sincerity of Narottamadasa Thakur fall down in complete surrender at Your fragrant lotus feet. Srila Prabhupada, I pray for the day that I develop love for my spiritual master. All glories to Your Divine lotus self.
